In 2003 James Lloyd of the Chrisitan Media Network conceived a new prophecy program to feature the voices of several new hosts and the original series launched with hosts, Sue Patterson and Michael Taube. Six months later Randy Maugans, who hosted the commentary show “Christian Media Report”, was added to the roster. In the first few years a number of hosts passed through Threshing Floor, including Doug Hudson and Jeff Cross, as well as the later addition of Bob Eccleston, who still appears occassionally and is now heard on the “Watchmen Live” show.

In 2005 after several changes in personnel, the show settled on the pairing of Sue Patterson and Randy Maugans and the beginning of the epic prophecy series, “The Third Day”, which has spanned over 300 shows and continues now as a separate production. Threshing Floor, today, is an independent production of audio, written materials, and guest appearences in a long  format talk show, produced by Randy Maugans from his Pennsylvania production studio. The media has expanded into an independent streaming station, live call-in shows, and has expanded to include a health show and the occassional “Exotica“.

In 2009, after repeated spamming attacks, the original Threshing Floor site folded when its database engine was corrupted and pages could no longer be served. That site archived well over 500 hours of shows and hundreds of articles—most of which are now off line.

The site has been preserved on backups, and restoring it would be a long process due to the complexity of the site’s architecture. As such, most of the material hosted by the site is presently unavailable. While we still remain optimistic that we may, at some point, restore the site, our present plans call for selective reposting of the most important materials and issuing of the shows on CD/DVD discs by donation.
