Randy, I’m not much into written correspondence(?). But I want to say that you are strengthening the body of true seekers of “THE WAY”, who, like yourself, are trying to workout their own salvation. So don’t you dare change! Brothers like you, Vyz,and even Z just confirm that I’m not alone on my journey. I can honestly say that I don’t know more than five “True Christians”, even though I’m surrounded by “Christians”! It’s pretty lonely, in human terms, but it’s a spiritual thing anyway. Just don’t go away, because God has to be using you or else it’s all a crock and we’re all dead in our sins! Sorry for rambling. I just feel so detatched from this world and want to see the LORD with every fiber of my being that sometimes it actually feels like I’ve had the wind knocked out of me, literally! So, I say to you GOD SPEED, GOD BLESS YOU, GOD PROSPER YOUR SOUL, GOD KEEP YOU FROM EVIL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your brother in CHRIST, DAN
This is one of your best shows yet. I feel that the whole world is completely corrupted. I also agree that I seldom meet anyone who is true to the faith without discernable stumbling blocks. I am constantly edified with your contributions to what understandings that we are able to find.
Shows like these are some of my favorites where you, Viz, Gordon etc. just bare your feelings and understandings. They resonate with my understandings in a most profound way. I always come away feeling that there are a few otthers still prayfully seeking the narrow path in their walk. It is not easy.
Randy, as far as shedding listeners, it seems these people have not yet undertaken similar inqueries for answers, and because of this they are not really strong enough in their faith to deal with the hard things. I too questioned the bible and versions. I too came to the conclusion that there is plenty of internal evidence that it is inspired and the more you study it, the more apparent it becomes. I believe that we have travelled similar paths, and reached similar conclusions. I also find that there has been preserved all that is necessary to gather the profound faith required to become a son of God. Do not let them dishearten or discourage you.
We seem to be at a turning point ( a point of division if you will). I believe that the serious tribulation is upon us. I sense it in my local area with a couple of friends who I believe get it. The time for evangelizing is past. We need to continue to uncover the hard reality that is upon us. I also notice more people who are seperating over issues which have not caused a seperation before.
Please, all of you, continue doing exactly as you are, and be encouraged with the fact that there are some out here in the wilderness who seldom remark, but nonetheless are edified with your efforts. They certainly are not in vain.
