Randy Holden has been called Rock music’s long lost guitar great of the 60′s and 70′s era…he may better be called a voice of prophetic, spiritual music in the 21st century. He has opened for The Rolling Stones on their debut Los Angeles concert, played lead guitar with the pioneering psychedelic blues-rock band, Blue Cheer; considered to replace Jeff Beck in the Yardbirds, and formed one of the earliest rock duos, Population II, in 1970. Today, he writes and records music from the perspective of a spiritual encounter: pure sounds with a resonance in the Spirit. We talk on a wide range of subjects, including early influences, the music industry…but we hit on some VERY fascinating subjects related to sound, the Creator, the scriptures, and spiritual adventures and insights.

Powerful , A voice of longing cries out of every human soul in moments of unforgettable loneliness . It is a voice that is felt not heard . In some it is released through the haunting strains of music . Others hear it through the flaming colors of a sunset or the awakening splender of a dawn . Lost Chord ” moaning out its unforgetable echo of lamentation as it sighed forth its desolateing loneliness at some moment or other in our lives . Rearrangement , discovering the great Lost Chord and the powers it contains and the unutterable glory of its true rendition . All that is necessary in order to change that lonely chant into an exquisite harmony of infinite power is to express the same tones in praise , love and gratitude . Then the strange ” Lost Chord ” becomes a symphony of unutterable beauty-which is no longer ” lost ” within a mans mortal being. Creation is waiting Randy , New Song from your heart …. new creature in Christ ….. It is utterable from the Heart and instruments , flute or string but from the heart with the Holy Spirit will change creation and fellowman .experience is not at the mercy with any argument . One afternoon while listening to music I felt I was being fine tuned in my spirit.. like I was a tuning fork.. funny you mentioned that in the show. I visualized the Lords hands reaching down into my heart and playing my heart strings. We are His musical instruments. Very interesting show.
