“…and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” -1 John 2:27

If you think that God needs churches, pastors, and institutional religions….meet Peter. The remnant is being assembled, in these days, not by phony evangelism techniques or empty slogans, but by the Spirit, Himself.

Peter literally ran from the churches…into the presence of YAHWEH—and found a personal relationship with the Creator that can best be termed: “supernatural!”

Peter was heard on the February 2, 2010  Watchmen Live show

I suppose you could say that my salvation was supernatural also, but I really believe everyone’s salvation is, church or no church. I grew up Catholic, but left that instutution because of hypocricy. For a while I didn’t know if there was a God or not, although I was sure there was some sort of “super intelligence” out there somewhere. A few LSD trips later, I was seeking God in Eastern religions, and becoming very alienated and depressed (I was even considering suicide). One night, I picked up a Bible that had sat for a few years, unopened on my bookshelf, and randomly opened it to the 10 Commandments. As I read them, I realized that I had broken each and every one of them, and was overcome with sorrow. Here I was, trying to find God, and I had done everthing He said not to do. I knew I was headed for Hell. I cried out, “God, if you love me, you’ll save me.”, and a peace came over me immediately. I determined that the next morning I’d start eating right, doing my Yoga excercises, and even do that chanting which I hated. But the Lord had other plans for me. The next morning, He sent over a Christian woman who told me they were having a revival at her church, and did I want to go. When she said the word “revival”, it reverborated throughout my being, and I said yes. I heard the Word for the first time in my life that night, and answered an altar call. The next morning, I found myself on a freezing cold (it was Feb.), windy N.J. street corner, waiting for someone who was late in picking me up, and I began to grumble and curse and complain in my mind, when all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit said, “No! Don’t do that”. I have no idea how I knew it was the Holy Spirit, but I knew. The next night, I returned to that church and was baptized in the Holy Spirit (what happened then is an amazing and wonderful, supernatural story in itself). Long story short, I attended that church for about 6 months, when one day, the Holy Spirit told me to “come out of her, lest I be a partaker of her plagues”. That was in 1978. Over the years, I’ve attended a few groups and churches, but I would bet the total amount of time spent in all of them was less than 3 years. The Lord teaches me everything. I make a lot of mistakes, and when I do, He is always faithful to tap me on the shoulder and say, “This is the way. Walk ye in it.” He has never left me nor forsaken me.

  3. Peter says:

It needs to be said that the positive comments regarding Zeph Daniel in this conversation are from a very different time. I would not want anyone to seek him after hearing my testimony. God will use many kinds of vessels to call someone… this one has clearly lost his way.
