Part 7 of “Ye Shall Be As Gods”

The final installment of “Ye Shall Be As Gods” explores the dynamic by which we are being transformed into new creatures for a Holy purpose:
God’s relationship with his creatures, particularly man, goes even beyond mere sentience or consciousness, beyond mere feelings and emotions. The relationship He desires is a spiritual one, which takes us into the realm of CONSCIENCE. God’s love as defined in 1 Corinthians 13 can only be birthed and matured in a person with a good Conscience. In this context I do not mean ‘Good’ as man would define ‘good’ in relativistic terms but rather in an absolute sense as defined by Jesus:
“And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me? there is none good but one, that is, God.” (Mark 10:18)
Without a perfect conscience it is not possible to be absolutely good and without being absolutely good it is not possible to love God as He loves us. And without loving Him it is not possible to have a relationship with Him as an equal, that which making both parties in the relationship equal, being their mutual and equal love for each other, which in turn results from them having a pure conscience. God’s conscience has always been pure but man’s conscience had to be purged; the blood of Jesus alone can purge it, purify it, make it holy as the conscience of God Himself. The pure conscience is the foundation on which the relationship between God and man, as equals, rests.

I am greatly encouraged by this series that has left me in awe of my God. In 2005 God showed me something that seems to really dovetail with what was said in this series. ((This may all seem to be way too simple an explanation for most, but I can only trust what I know God told me) One late night when unable to sleep and praying for clarity on why Adam was, alone, to blame for the fall of man thinking on Romans 5, God led me to think of the verses in Gen. that God created man, and that was male and female He created them…one. Then He told me that that was the image of God…because that is what He had done with Christ; taken Him from His side…they were One. That was the reason male and female in Adam was the image of God when He took the woman from the mans side. That floored me, but then I began to see how that symbology played out through all the Word wherein Christ was God’s help-meet as the female was the males. No other creature has been duplicated in that manner aside from mankind. As it goes further in to Gods Word…Jesus being perfect in his flesh, then had the seed of Christ growing in him until He came into the fullness of Christ. We too grow in the fullness of Christ as He has placed that seed within us. As Jesus fully submitted His ways to God we too must do the same in order to come into that fullness. Of course the only way for that process to begin was through the blood of Jesus Christ; for a man must have first been perfected in order for all after Him, to walk therein. All He endured was for Gods glory and for our salvation and example, which was Gods perfect plan of salvation. We will for all eternity be Gods help-meet with Jesus being our Head.
So your series on this really brought out more than what I initially perceived…I never thought we would be of a God-kind, but it makes perfect sense to me now. I still have a problem with understanding how God must suffer in order for Him to be truly sentient…I don’t think or understand how God Himself was in need of anything since He knows all and created all. (Maybe that was not the concept you were really going for?) Of course He was in need of fellowship, so I guess that is something He had to process through; by duplicating Himself. It is way beyond my ability to understand certain aspects of this; however through the Lord’s leading, I will know all I need, to have Christ fully formed in me, as He says He will do in His Word. I look forward to studying more of this in His Word. Thank you for the series that few would even dare to try to bring out.

The Express Image really spoke volumes as to what it really means, “It’s is not who lives, but Christ who lives in me. It’s the very seed of Christ birthed in those who(fully) believe. It’s a process of His Life in us we yield to every day ie (Pick up your cross, deny self and follow Him) It’s not being fully grown at once, but like a seed that grows. So is He, the Christ growing up to be fully formed in us. This series has brought an even deeper understanding and revelation of the purpose of Yahweh to have a people after His own kind and the suffering that brings us to the obedience and yielding to His Divine Nature in us as well as a greater appreciation of the incredible Love He has for us.
Thank you!
I remain unconvinced that God needed to understand suffering in order to carry out his purpose (he could have done that without any of us). It seems more a matter of our needing to understand what he already understood in order for us to be like him.
Christ took on flesh just like ours, the seed of Abraham (Hebrews) in the flesh. His flesh was sinful and corrupt, though he never sinned willfully. I think this man’s theology is just a bit off. Christ became sin by being born of a woman, born under law. At the cross, he took out sin, too. If Christ’s flesh was not just like ours, then he could not be a true and faithful priest. The entire book of Hebrews is about exactly this point. And at the summation of all things, Christ will subject everything, and his body will be full, and then he will subject all the kingdom to the father, so that God can be all in all. However, that does not mean that we become God’s equals, exactly like him. The type in the old testament is Joseph under Pharaoh. The entire Kingdom is turned over to Joseph, except for the throne. Pharaoh tells Joseph that only in the throne would Pharaoh be superior to Joseph. What Mr. Sandhu seems to be saying is that the deification of man is a biblical concept. Perhaps it is, but I do not see it in the scriptures, yet I admit I could be blinded to that truth if it is in fact true.
