Hi Randy! I have listened to your broadcasts weekly for the past couple years. It has been edifying for me. Luke 24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked to us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? Well the reason I’m leaving this comment is, I was reading the book of Nehemiah, and I saw these versus, when I read them I kept thinking about senators, congressman, govenors, and presidents. What is happening to our country? Patriot act, health care reform, corruption, ect. For it is written, Psalm 110:5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. Psalm 94:20-21 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by LAW? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. Anyway these versus in Nehemiah really tie things together for me. Neh.9:34-37 neither have our kings, our princes,our priest, nor our fathers,kept thy law, nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies, wherewith thou didst testify against them. For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works. Behold we are servants this day, and for the land that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof, behold we are servants in it: And it yieldeth much increase unto the kings whom thou hast set over us because of our sins: also they have dominion over our bodies, and over our cattle, at their pleasure, and we [are] in great distress. Did you catch that part the kings have dominion over our BODIES? Think health care, ect. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. we truly are a people in great distress.
