The metaphors found in scripture are a bridge between time and spirit. There is a consistent body of images and identifications in the prophetic writings…and once we learn the “language” the dark understandings, hidden by the Creator, come to life.
This show reviews the fundamentals of the prophetic view brought out in early Third Day studies, and begins breaking out the rules for applying identifications found in the prophetic writings. Key concepts for the student of prophecy.

Using the color coding system® which I developed below, to explain metaphoric concepts, I will continue Numbers 21 after the fiery serpent incident:
Orange = God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit
Purple = The 144,000
Blue = The Multitude
Red = The Judas Cycle, The Scorpions
Green = The Esau Effect, The Serpents
Olive = Lies, Apostasy, & Sin
Brown = The Great Tribulation
First, the players need to be identified in the second act, & they are as follows:
Amorites [red] – from Canaan, Ham’s son [no Amore with this bunch].
Israel [purple] – Starting at verse 17 they sing, as it were a New Song.
Moab [blue] – an incestuous son (man child) of Lot.
Ammon [blue] – an incestuous son (man child) of Lot.
Jahaz [orange] (Jahaza, Jahazah, Jahzah) – Strong’s # 3096: Threshingfloor.
Jabbok [orange] – Strong’s # 2999 from 1238: To depopulate.
Heshbon [red] – Strong’s # 2809 the same as 2808: devise, from 2803: to plot or contrive (usually in a malicious sense).
Sihon [red] – Strong’s # 5511: Tempestuous, the same as 5477: from an unused root mean. to wipe away; sweeping.
Ar [blue]- Strong’s # 6144: the same as 5892 from 5782 with 5783: through the idea of opening the eyes; wake up; 5783: prim root; be made naked.
Chemosh [olive]- Strong’s # 3645: from an unused root mean. to subdue; the powerful; a Moabite god.
Dibon [blue]- Strong’s # 1769 from 1727 pining; 1727 a prim. root; to mope, i.e. (fig.) pine: – sorrow.
Arnon [purple]- Strong’s # 769 from 7442 a brawling stream; 7442; a prim. root; prop. to creak (or emit a stridulous sound), i.e. to shout (usually for joy); – aloud for joy, cry out, be joyful (greatly make to) rejoice, (cause to) shout (for joy), (cause to) sing (aloud, for joy, out), triumph.
Nophah [blue]- Strong’s # 5302 from 5301; a gust; 5301 a prim. root; to puff, in various applications (lit., to inflate, blow hard, scatter, kindle, expire; fig., to disesteem): – blow, breath, give up, cause to loose [life], seething, snuff.
Medeba [red]- Strong’s # 4311 from 4325 and 1679 water of quiet; 4325 dual of a prim. noun (but used in a sing. sense); water; fig. juice; by euphem. urine, semen: – + piss, waste, water (-ing, [-course, -flood, -spring]) 1679 from an unused root (prob. mean. to be sluggish, i.e. restful); quiet: – strength.
The Second Act will now begin, pick your seat, and we’ll continue at verse 21:
[21] And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying, [22] Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king’s high way, until we be past thy borders. [23] And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel. [24] And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong. [25] And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof. [26] For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon. [27] Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared: [28] For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it hath consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon. [29] Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites. [30] We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba. [31] Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites. [32] And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.
It’s the same story told over and over, again and again. Amazing!
