An encounter with legalism and bondage on a Facebook page where a meditation on the Cross became a heated debate over works and grace. The context is the Cross—nothing, NOTHING may be added to, or taken away from that atonement, and salvation is FINISHED!
This is not the euphemistic “eternal security”—a false doctrine of reprobate theologians; likewise we do not “add” works to the Cross. Pure works come from the leading of the Holy Spirit in the walk of a TRULY regenerate believer.
That we were treated to the introduction of Adolf Hitler as an example of “Bible toting, church-going, born again believer”—by a man who says he is a “Pastor”, is proof enough of how far down the path to confusion the large body of believers have gone.
Wrap your mind around the Cross: you will weep, you will shout, you will worship. And every work will flow from you in accord. Do not let the bondage masters—the modern Pharisees—ever judge your works. That is between you, the Holy Spirit, and your Elder Brother, Yashua.
