The religious spirit is one of the most elusive concepts for most believers to understand and counter. It poses a very severe threat to both the host and the people it affects in the realm of faith.
Scripture, while not employing the exact term, does demonstrate the operation of this specialized spiritual infection and demonstrates HOW this spirit attempts to thwart the presentation of the Gospel. The religious spirit will pervert the WORD of God and interupt the work of the Holy Spirit by denying the work of Christ at the Cross through works, legalism, false utterances, and usurpation of Godly authority.
This spirit has destroyed churches, ruined marriages, caused suicides and even murder…yet it lurks undetected in the midst of every journey taken toward a saving faith in Christ. This show will help you identify this spirit with the goal to uprooting it…from your fellow believers, your fellowship, and from yourself.
