The Case Against Paul-Part 1

A not-so-new phenomenon has again surfaced in the “broad way” of modern-day religion that calls itself “Christianity”. It  is part of the ongoing efforts by the minions of the enemy to undermine orthodoxy and the foundations of the faith based upon scripture.

We  focus on the ugly heresies presented by several current writers and pundits against the writings and works of Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles and the majority writer of the New Testament scriptures. The new wave critics of Paul insist that his doctrines are in opposition to the teachings of Jesus, that he was an antinomian (anti-law) and not just a heretic—but a false apostle sent to destroy the church from its inception!

This show relates the two extremities of Biblical reductionism: the second century dualist movement of Marcionism, and the later evolution of the “Words of Jeus Only” advocates which reached a critical mass with Jefferson’s deistic “Jefferson Bible”.

We evaluate some of the claims of a California litigation attorney and so-called “Evangelical Christian”, Douglas J. Del Tondo, Esq., who not only disputes Paul’s apostleship, but argues against the exant Greek New Testament in favor of the heretical and illegitimate text of a Hebrew Matthew called the Shem Tov—a 14th century rendering by the Jewish anti-Christian polemicist, Tob ben Shaprut. Future shows will take on other prominent anti-Paulists, Sherry Shriner and Scott McQuate.
