A fractal is generally “a rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be split into parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole,”a property called self-similarity.
Today many people are fascinated by the minutiae found in Biblical prophecies. They create whole-cloth predictions based on what can, at times, be fragments of a much larger—even infinite data set. The modern Mandelbrot set provides a metaphor by which to view prophecy that is both intriguing and humbling: “the THING is not the thing”
