The first caller was cowed into submission. When I got on, I mentioned that Dr. Ernest L Martin at >http://www.askelm.com , wrote "The Star of Bethlehem: The Star That Astonished the World," which is an on line book. In it he calculated that the time of Jesus’ Birth was on September 11, 3 B.C. (Interesting day) His birth was no where near December 25. I quoted Jeremiah 10, and the host said that he doesn't 'deck it with silver.' So let me get this right; it's OK to put a star on top of the tree, have a manger scene, put on lights, and throw tinsel on it? He said yes, because God knows our Hearts. Then, I guess it would be alright to have a statue of Mary, or a big glossy picture of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He also says that he isn't learning the way of the heathen, even though Holiday Trees are put up by the secular governments. Now all that stuff that's on these Christmas Trees, would it still be good if it was put on the tree in the Garden of Eden?
