“The movie’s prescriptions are posed within a

distinctly Hegelian framework.  In many instances, the solutions proffered by Zeitgeist:

Addendum merely constitute dialectic extremes that produce precisely the same results as the problems that they allegedly address. “-The Technocratic Undercurrent of Zeitgeist: Addendum  By Paul & Phillip D. Collins

Read the new article on the socialist/technocratic agenda of Peter Joseph’s “Zeitgeist: Addendum” by Paul and Phillip Collins: The Technocratic Undercurrent of Zeitgeist

“A recurrent mythic theme for revolutionaries — early romantics, the young Marx, the Russians of Lenin’s time — was Prometheus, who stole fire from the gods for the use of mankind. The Promethean faith of revolutionaries resembled in many respects the general belief that science would lead men out of darkness into light.“-, James H. Billington, Fire in the Minds of Men: Origins of the Revolutionary Faith

Did we watch the same movie? This article is total garbage.

I don’t know…what movie did you watch? Do you have anything constructive to add or are you just fronting for Peter Joseph and his existentialists?

Your comment sounds like that of the self-same “automatons” being programmed by Joseph and his sycophants.

  3. Buddy,

The movie is quoted verbatim throughout the article. So, evidently, we did watch the same film.

I noticed that you did not address any of our specific contentions. Typically, when you take issue with somebody’s position, you present a rebuttal. It’s called polemics, Buddy.

The response, “This article is total garbage” hardly qualifies as a rebuttal. It’s not even an educated opinion. It bespeaks an overwhelming presupposition on your part.

It doesn’t surprise us, however, given the overwhelmingly credulous nature of most Zeitgeist adherents. Again, a so-called “open mind” does not automatically qualify as a virtue. The real issue are the concepts, ideas, and beliefs to which the mind gives assent.

We already know what you’ve given your assent to. Now, the onerous is upon you to qualify your contention.

I saw ‘Zeitgeist,’ & the 1st part where they tried to condition the viewer that Jesus was a poor imitation of past culture beliefs, struck me as Contemplative Prayer. This is where you have to empty your mind & concentrate on nothing, instead of filling it with the word of God.
I think James Lloyd brought up this the best in his documentary, ‘A Prophetic Odyssey.’ In his film, he said that Satan is not stupid. When he learned in the Garden of Eden, that God would bring about the redeemer, through the woman, Satan got the idea to create a bunch of fake Christ stories before the real Jesus arrived on Earth.
If you think about it, wouldn’t it be surprising to find no similar myths throughout history, after what Lucy knew?
