I bring to your attention a slick dispensationalist by the name of Brannon Howse, President and Founder of Worldview Matters, which is featured on VCY America; Inc. [Can you say 501(3)c?] I’ll start with a 1-24-09 site at :slacktivist.typepad.com/…/01/brannon-?howse-is-evil.html When you view this site, what at first appears to be a disclaimer to warn that Brannon Howse is evil, may actually be a self serving spoof. I say this because there is no scripture which challenges him, but instead focuses on, of all things, his large forehead. Even the letters are void of any kind of nourishment. I believe that this is a form of misdirection. He’s got your focus on the basketball so you don’t notice the gorilla waltzing across the court. Also, as sidebar links, are invitations to buy Left Behind material and other Rapture oriented material.
Brannon Howse, about a year ago used Glenn Beck as a source, because he is labeled as a Conservative. After finding out that Glenn Beck is a Mormon, Brannon Howse then turned on him, warning his listeners to the saturation point, every day, for three weeks. Brannon Howse’s show, Worldview Matters, is heard Mon – Fri, in which he is more than happy to point out the mote that is in his brother’s eye, but perceivest not Goliath’s spear, where the staff of his spear is like a weaver’s beam, firmly set in his own eye, and horribly disfiguring his own head.
On February 10, 2011, discussed “Why The Office of Apostle and Prophet Has Ceased” where Brannon mentions Three Kinds of Apostles:
1) Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ in which the A is capitalized
2) Apostles of the church in which the a is in lowercase.
3) False Apostles.
Brannon then mentions Five Biblical Facts About The Apostles of Jesus Christ Why The Office of Apostle Closed and Why The Office of Prophet is Closed. About prophets he mentions:
1) Appointed by God
2) Had to be consistent with what the apostles said.
3) Laid the foundations
4) Spokesmen for God
5) Performed miracles – signs & wonders
6) Had to be 100% accurate or they would be killed
7) Jesus warned of False Prophets
False Prophets have false doctrine
9) False Prophets will grow worse & worse
It should be noted, that Brannon used verses from the KJV. When you check out Strong’s Exhausting Concordance, you will see that for apostle, a definition is:”an ambassador for Christ.” For prophet, (Strong’s # 5030) the definition is “an inspired man.” Nothing too mysterious here!
For Thursday, 2-24-11, Brannon’s guest, Randy Alcorn mentioned that Christiansns are ambassadors for Christ. That was the opening that I needed for my GOTCHA! as I called into the show. When I got on, it went something like this:
“Randy, you said that we are ambassadors for Christ? – Yes – That’s interesting, because that is a definition in Strong’s # 652 for the word apostle. In Brannon’s show for Feb 10 he says that Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ have a capital A for apostle. Yet, I would also like to point out that the only place in the Bible where the word apostle is capitalized is at Hebrews 3:1 where it says: ‘Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus.’ Clearly, this Apostle is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.”
As you might have guessed, I quickly became a sound bite as Brannon cut me off. Brannon then said “I’m sure the caller agreed with us.” (Well, you could have asked me, I was right there. I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree) If I was to continue, I would have gone on to say that the word Prophet is capitalized at Deuteronomy 18:15 & 18, and is the Messiah spoken of there. I would have further mentioned that Amos 3:7; says: Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
The next day I was going to review the spectacle on his site, but it wasn’t even archived! I also noticed that many other days of his productions where callers started to rake him across the coals are also missing! If you disagree; eliminate.
I believe that Brannon Howse wants to be viewed as “THE” authority figure. To do so he must reduce the listener into a complete spiritual invalid. To do that, Brannon must convince the Christian that he has the Christian World View, and all others do not. Christians must be submissive to him and are powerless. You cannot be an apostle, a prophet, the elect, called, chosen, Israel, or be inspired by God in any way. That is for someone else, like Brannon Howse. In the latter times, the only apostle or prophet must be the false variety. If you even think you are one, you are a false one mister! However, does that even make any sense? Are we to support the idea that there will only be false prophets and no men of God? If in any way you disagree with the Hive mentality, you must go back to Sunday school to get your God fix. Originally, I thought that he was trying to serve two masters by giving lip service to Jesus, while promoting the nation of Israel and the physical Jews. That’s not the case. It’s much worse.

I do not have an axe to grind with Brannon Howse. I feel I must warn the remnant, however. I will now in the future not tune in and listen to his plan. If I did I would turn into a piller of salt. I must listen to His command to “Come out of her,” otherwise I will just become bitter and angry. This is a door closed. Thank you Jesus.
