Book Review: J.E. Hutton’s “A History of the Moravian Church” by Gordon Comtock

“Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.”-Romans 11:5

Jan Hus

The true history of Evangelicalism and the “reformation”  before the fact—or perhaps genuine reformation, and not “protest”—- but acti0n, is found in the story of a small persecuted band of 15th century Czechs who forged a “remnant” of Biblical Christians from the legacy of the Great Schism of Western Christianity.

There is a great story of the perseverance of the faith which has been expunged by Rome, and ignored by “Protestants”–a story of faith which had the spirit of the true Gospel, and the heart of the martyrs of the first three centuries of Christianity.
