I cant help but see that thing as a double headed Arrow or Rocket sitting there waiting to be launched … Piercing the Earth and the Sun through the Heart Symbolically and Simultaneously as in some sort of Weird Ritual set up to Mimic what happened in the Garden of Eden.
IE … Kill Two Birds with One Stone or Monument, Which would finally kill this creation once and for all. To please all so called Christians Who and Do Love and Worship their Monuments and Idols TILL DEATH Do Them Part. IE .. People Of The OBELISKS.
