“And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S
house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.”-Ezekiel 8:16
Honestly, I think my head is going to explode! More junk food for the doctrinally impaired and discernment disabled from those lovable fiction writers over at P.I.D. Radio (via Revelations Radio Network), the Gilberts—Sharon and Derek:
From: P.I.D. Radio 5/29/09: Pentecost Rapture?:
IS THIS the weekend of Christ’s triumphant return? Maybe, maybe not. There are signs that indicate it may be so, but the signs were never meant to be easy to read. Read The Final Fulfillment of Pentecost and Sharon’s piece on the Blessing of the Sun.
OK, I bite: rapture and something called the “Blessing of the Sun”?
from Sharon Gilbert’s article: “Birchat Hachama — the Blessing of the Sun” we read this:
May 28, 2009 — This is stunning video of 50,000 Jewish believers as they participate in the Birchat Hachama, the Blessing of the Sun, on April 8, 2009 (14 Nissan — Passover).
This rare event occurs only once every 28 years and marks the return of the sun to its original position during Creation.
Only two other times has this event fallen on Nissan 14 (Passover): 1) One year before the Exodus of Israel from Egypt and 2) on the first day of Esther’s fast prior to the miracle of Purim (the decree to kill all Jews was annulled within the year in the month of Adar).
This year marks the third time. Is there a third and final redemption of Israel coming within 2009? I believe so. 2009 could well be the year when the Lord once again sets His face toward Israel, and the final seven year countdown begins. Are you ready?
What?
You can go read the Wikipedia article on the Birchat Hachama for yourself, but, essentially this is the Babylonian Talmudic version of the Christian Easter (Ishtar) “Sunrise Services” practiced by the apostate daughters of Rome. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree: like mother like daughter…but what does it have to do with the rapture?
For that you will have to grope your way through the rapturist rantings of cultist, Steve Coerper‘s article: “The Final Fulfillment of Pentecost”—or not. Trust me, if you are not a fully sold out believer in Jewish dispensationalism and pre-trib rapture doctrine this will probably make your eyes cross.
Back to Sharon Gilbert’s gushing over the “stunning” video of this event:
So perplexed am I that people professing to be “Biblical Christians” could be sucked into thinking such an abominable event as these Christ-rejecting Talmudic Jews, essentially performing a sun worship ceremony, could inspire not just awe, but seemingly PROPHETIC import! Judgment, perhaps, but I see no parallels with the Exodus or the deliverance of the Hebrews from Haman in the Book of Esther. (By the way: Purim, like its post-exillic cousin feast, Hannukah, are NOT ordained by God–they appear at best, to have been tolerated by YHWH—at best.)
Words of Jesus:
“For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.”- Luke 6:44
What part of “abomination” do we not understand? Read the rest of Ezekiel 8 wherein the Lord declares his judgment for such practices:
” Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.-Ezekiel 8:18
The Christians out there who continue to enable the pagan practices of Jews, thus sparing them the process of a true repentance and coming to faith in the Risen Son, Christ, are complicit in the loss of souls in Israel—and around the world. To read the words of someone like Sharon Gilbert, extolling the hideous pagan, non-Biblical “Blessing of the Sun” is a grievance to a Holy God, and a stumbling block to both the Jews, who without Christ perish in unbelief—and their gullible readers who think these people are actually born again.
The bad fruits of the rapture doctrine and Scofield’s hideous doctrine of dispensationalism area bout to roost upon these false teachers. While pagans dance and sing in the streets of false Jerusalem, the once true Spiritual Jerusalem—the body of Christian believers—now have become a snare and gin for all who follow them.
house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east;
So…I take it you don’t believe in the rapture of the church? Would you please clarify your position with scripture instead of hateful writing?
I not only do NOT believe in the rapture of the church, I strenuously teach against it. I can provide ample scripture and proofs but rapturists rarely heed them—and they inevitably accuse me of being “unloving” or “hateful”.
See the following links:

http://threshingfloor-radio.com/index.php/2008/03/rapture-rhetoric-rebuttal-part-2/
I will add that the reason this article seems “hateful” is because the article in question is loaded with false doctrine. Not only rapture, but Jewish dispensationalism and Sharon Gilbert’s acceptance, even praise, of a custom which is patently un-Biblical and even idolotrous. Go ask Sharon Gilbert, as I did on her web page, where this practice of “Blessing The Sun” is found anywhere in scripture.
Likewise, I guess we could conclude that Jesus was also “hateful” when He rebuked the Jews in John 8?
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.”(John 8:44, 45)
I spent years just presenting the Biblical proofs against the rapture doctrine and was reviled, spit at, and accused of being blasphemous. Was that hateful? I still present the truths—just with more attitude. Take it or leave it. I love the truth. How about you?

Hi Randy,
I’ve been listening to your expose on the rapture and I just want to tell you that I came to the exact same conclusions that you proport, when I was researching dispensational theology. What you are teaching is spot on! Your timeline and who was involved in presenting the rapture doctrine is also exactly what I found out. I had read that the Jesuit who wrote under the rabinical name did so in order to take the “anti-christ” heat off the pope, because everyone believed that Rome was the city on 7 hills.
One thing that I also read was that Scofield was financed by some wealthy NY Jewish Zionists (one of them was Rothschild agent Jacob Schiff, whose grandson is married to Al Gore’s daughter btw)… they are the ones who paid to have the Scofield study bible printed by Oxford and then distributed all over the US because they knew that they could not get support for a Zionist State of Israel without the support of the Christians. Apparently it worked and now 100 years later noone questions dispensational theology or even knows that there are other ways to look at things. Seriously, does anyone ever look at Matthew 24 as having a historical fulfillment??
Keep up the good work. I enjoy listening to your broadcast.
Joanne-
Your statement: “…does anyone ever look at Matthew 24 as having a historical fulfillment??” has a lot of merit.
While I remain a futurist in terms of prophecy, I find the historicist views do keep me grounded by not attempting to throw everything, prophetically, at the last days—prophecy WAS fulfilled in70 AD.
The views of the rapture cult are EXACTLY what Satan planned in using his human agents, the Jesuits, the Darbys and Moodys, and the Jewish money powers of the Rothchilds.
The nexus of Rome, Britain, and Jerusalem form the seed bed for the doctrines which now ooze from every corner of the rotting church system. The mystery of iniquity even now does work…tragic!
Randy
Since when did telling the truth, and exposing a fraud, become “hateful writing,” Mr. Endsley?
See: Galatians 4:16.
See: Your bathroom mirror, right after you read that verse.
Randy,
I forgot to mention that it was while reading the “Left Behind” series that I started on a quest to find out the truth about the rapture and discovered that there were other views on eschatology! Who knew! We are never even presented with other views in our Churches. The talking heads behind the pulpits are brainwashed too!
The Rothschild agents did a good job of getting the Scofield bible into the hands of every Christian, thereby replacing the KJV! Did you know that Scofield and Moody were very close friends? Moody is responsible for starting the apostate “sinners prayer” altar call, which has filled our churches with unsaved people who have only “accepted Jesus” into their hearts, but have never repented!
Joanne
BTW, Sharon Gilbert removed the sun worship article from her web site and Derek wrote a blog about it. In case you didn’t see it, I’ll copy it here (I think he’s refering to you when he mentions “believers who devote themselves to the study of prophecy”:
Clarification on the Blessing of the Sun
Posted by Derek On May – 30 – 2009
On our last P.I.D. Radio show, Sharon and I discussed a short piece she’d written about the Birchat Hachama, a Jewish celebration that occurs once every 28 years to mark the return of the sun to its original position during Creation. This year, it occurred on Passover — for only the third time in history.
The previous two times, according to Jewish tradition, were the year before the Exodus and the first day of Esther’s fast before the miracle of Purim (the Persian decree to kill all Jews was annulled later that year).
But when believers who devote themselves to the study of prophecy misunderstand us, we obviously didn’t make our point clear.
We did not and would never attribute prophetic authority to anything but scripture. We simply mentioned this historic event as another data point to consider while analyzing the big picture.
Now, there is a spirit at work in assigning importance to any specific sign or date. It’s entirely possible that the enemy, which knows scripture better than any of us, has attached significance to this year’s Blessing of the Sun (just as it has with the year 2012) to distract us from the core issue of sin and salvation.
That doesn’t mean we should ignore the event. At the very least, we should be aware that the enemy may use it to deceive others who are looking for a false Messiah. That point wasn’t made clear during the show, and for that I apologize.
But please don’t interpret that error as somehow endorsing the event or basing our doctrine on it. From the whole of the work we’ve produced at P.I.D. Radio and our websites, our position should be clear. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
As of late today, the article on the “Blessing of the Sun” was still up on Sharon Gilbert’s site with the correction she posted after my comments there, to her credit. Derek’s remarks maybe found at:
http://derekpgilbert.com/?p=3181
I’ll respond to Derek’s comments separately in another post, as well as the comments of David Endsley there.
Randy
The real pushers of the Scofield Bible were the employers of the Rothschilds. The same group that has been infiltrating and persecuting Christ’s real Ecclesia from the time of Constantine’s devilish “Donation.” It’s the same group that infiltrated Oxford University, and thereby overran the Oxford Press, which cranked out Scofield’s counterfeit “bible.” This is the same group that’s renowned for emphasizing erudition and higher learning, the Society of Jesus; so, taking over Oxford came quite natural to them.
Randy,
As one who used to listen to PID as well as others of this ilk, I thank you for this type of exposition.
For years I spun in circles with this drivel and while I find the Gilbert’s to be very nice people, they are off in their doctrine.
I think that their peering into darkness should be lessened and should pray that te Lord would show them the light.
